Maya, ZBrush, and After Effects are the tools in my belt, along with a plethora of good coffee and a very patient wife. I greatly enjoyed not only modeling the objects in this reel, but also texturing, animating and rendering them. I made this monk for a client who requested a high-resolution mesh for their project. I used Maya to create the base mesh and ZBrush to sculpt the details. At the highest subdivision level, the monk and all of his sub-mesh objects totaled at over 10 million polygons.
